The Arte Luise Kunsthotel is located in the very heart of the pulsating capital, in Berlin’s Mitte district, right across from the former path of the Wall in today’s media and government quarter. The Reichstag, the Chancellery, Brandenburg Gate, Friedrichstrasse, Unter den Linden, as well as Museum Island and Gendarmenmarkt, can all easily be reached by foot. And this means that the city’s most important museums, galleries, cafes, restaurants, and shopping possibilities are practically right outside your door. And Ku’damm, Kreuzberg, or Prenzlauer Berg are only a few stations away by S-Bahn.

Despite being in the city center, the Tiergarten and the Spree are located just behind the hotel. Here you can take a walk, relax, or go for your daily run. From a short outing to the Chancellory, Schloss Bellevue, or Potsdamer Platz, up to a half-marathon along the Spree to Charlottenburg and back, numerous possibilities await. And in summer, a variety of beach bars along the Spree provide a taste of the Caribbean. Swimming is the only thing not recommended here.

A bike ride is very popular in good weather. Through the center of Berlin to the east along the small streets of the old Scheunenviertel to Kollwitzplatz in Prenzlauer Berg (especially in the evening) and / or west over the banks of the river Spree, past the Chancellery and Schloss Bellevue to Charlottenburg Palace. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel, the daily price is about 12 euros.
