Unique Rooms For Every Taste

Experience distinctive works of art up close: At Arte Luise Hotel, you’ll find a wide selection of rooms that turn your Berlin trip into a visual celebration. Whether you're traveling solo or exploring the city as a couple, our single and double rooms offer individual charm and cozy retreats:

·       Samarkand (Room 202): This single room in the historic old building is also flexibly designed for couples. Created by Uzbek artist Shukhrat Babadjan, it’s a tribute to Uzbek folklore. Found objects of consumer culture merge with traditional colors in a charming parody. Spend the night in this artistic space where the cultural treasures of Uzbekistan come to life in a modern way.

·       The Poor Poet (Room 300): In this double room styled in historical architecture, the spirit of Carl Spitzweg fuses with contemporary art. Artist Andreas Paeslack created a three-dimensional reproduction of the famous painting. With its distinctive wooden floors, the room offers not only restful sleep but also a unique blend of history and art. Experience a space where past and present meet!

·       Spy Room (Room 301): This double room in the old building faces the quiet inner courtyard. Artist Gerald Hartwig transports you to the era of the Cold War. On your secret mission, you’ll discover bullet holes in the mirror and hidden surprises behind paintings. This room is a time capsule featuring spy-era furniture, wallpaper, and secret agent props – a playful dialogue between spy and guest in a night full of mystery.

·       Flight Myth (Room 309): This double room also lies in the historic section of the hotel, facing the courtyard. Leipzig-based artist Silke Vollmers has created a unique space with a floating bed made from aircraft parts. Tables, chairs, and shelves are also flight-inspired. Guests can record their experiences in a logbook and become part of the room’s story. The space beautifully combines the freedom of flying with art and functionality.

·       Wall Jumper (Room 421): This double room in the hotel’s modern wing features wooden flooring that creates a timeless atmosphere. History comes alive here through the iconic artwork “Mauerspringer” (Wall Jumper) by Gabriel Heimler, one of the artists from the East Side Gallery. The wall jumper leaps from a mirrored image of the Reichstag and government buildings, forming a fascinating link between past and present.

Each of our 50 hotel rooms at Arte Luise offers a unique art experience – a feast for the senses and an inspiring complement to your stay in central Berlin.
