The artist Marc Volk presents 35 motifs on the walls of the room—photographic details from various publicly accessible spaces within the hotel.

Some of these images have been quite abstracted. They have been hung in the room in varying scale and are intended to inspire the occupant of the room to undertake an interesting treasure hunt for the depicted locations in the building.

The guest is invited to use the index print found in the room to search for the original places where the photos were taken. Watch out! The task is not as easy as it might appear at first. Some of the things depicted in large scale are in fact just small details, and some of the pictures can only be found when approached from the right angle.

Whoever finds 20 motifs may collect a piccolo bottle of wine at the reception desk, and for a discovery of 30 motifs or more there is an additional prize of a small catalogue of the artist’s work. Have fun!
