Ottmar Hörl is known for lending concrete form to abstract ideas. His well-known multiple "UNSCHULD-Seife" (INNOCENCE Soap), the most successful German multiple, concretises the words of Pontius Pilate: "I wash my hands in innocence". The word “innocence” is given a whole new context in this INNOCENCE suite: furnished completely in shining black, elevated on teakwood parquet with black and white walls and textiles designed by the artist.
