Touching the Sky
With slanting ceilings and bare wooden beams, the rooms in the mansard are very popular and cozy. Situated on the third floor just under the roof, they are accessed through a historically preserved stairwell that is punctuated with philosophical quotes on the art of life. The pared-down furnishings i.e., the centrally located showers and toilets make it possible for us to provide a favorably priced stay. Even Spitzweg's "Poor Poet", to whom room 300 is dedicated, would have had room in his budget.
